ROLLING IN MUD....not again

I consider myself to be a grown up individual as these hands that once loved to hold a TV remote now prefer holding a glass of beer, cigarette or just my willow in the hours of leisure. An unsolicited vacation in the scorching heat forced me in a live-in relationship with the Idiot box after ages and my sordid past made it imperative for me to maintain the distance from this black hole of life. I realized quite late that it was the time squandered watching television that eventually made me a certified average citizen of India, which is one hell of a confusing and demanding job to do.

To meet the requirements, you have to be a cynical critic with a special disliking for government and its policies, expert at cricket analysis, informed about who is who and who is doing whom in Bollywood, Account holder with three or more social networks, absent minded philosopher who thinks he is wise in the ways of world and women.......and don’t have much of a clue about your actual job. Our news channels are working on this uphill task of making morons out of men round the clock. They firmly believe journalism is a mat on their doorway and best used to rub their muck. All of them are flourishing and perpetrating same filth but INDIA TV is miles, no light years ahead. (Too clichéd topic to talk any further)

Rolling in mud is not the way to come clean. If I can’t make up for the time snatched by TV, I can’t allow it to degrade my deluded senses any further and prefer to dissipate it in the blogosphereThe omnipresent feelings of sadism, jealousy, greed, lust and countless other negative emotions weigh much higher than endangered traits like compassion, mercy, altruism and I don’t even know what the rest of them are called these days.......that’s why I acquiesced to wander around these streets of sarcasm.
